Fellowship
Universalist Unitarians are a very social bunch! The Fellowship Committee coordinates festive events celebrated by the church both inside and outdoors, and facilitates gatherings at members' homes.
Events are announced in the monthly newsletter, the Sunday Order of Service, and here on this website. Also look for sign-up sheets on the notice board by the front door. Many events are open to all ages, some providing entertainment for the younger generation.
Dinners for Eight
What are they? This ingenious idea provides the chance to become acquainted with other members at more leisure than is possible during coffee hour or larger social gatherings. How do they work? A member offers their home for seven guests who each bring a dish --- potluck or roasted. Interested? Add your name to the sign-up sheet at the front door. A host will contact you to invite you to a dinner. Many lasting friendships have started at a Dinner for Eight.
Potlucks
During the church year, there are many after-service receptions or evening parties arranged around special events. By each contributing part of a meal, we all enjoy a wonderful variety of dishes, good companionship and the very real spirit of being actively involved in our community. These events include: New Year's Day Brunch & Games, Valentine's Day, Flower Communion (June), Summer Picnic, Ingathering Service (September), Thanksgiving Dinner, and the Christmas party following the Candlelight Service.

Outdoor and Indoor Activities: We enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, picnicking, canoeing, swimming, and special outings. Our church also hosts plays, movie nights, games evenings, folk dancing, along with fundraiser events with a social aspect such as coffee houses and dances. (1).jpg)
