Young Adults
This is a casual, friendly group that provides opportunities for socializing and organizing. To join, it is only necessary that you consider yourself a young adult---although the guidelines are older teens to mid-thirties but we don't check ID!
Over the past year, we have met semi-regularly to prepare meals together for the church's commitment to Hope Cottage. We have also gathered for coffee-shop chats at a local café after Sunday services to discuss the sermon of that day or any current issue of interest. There is also interest in, and great potential for environmental and social action work like the annual Pride Parade, and the Shoreline Clean-Up that we were involved with in the past.
What the group is and does depends on the wishes of the group. We are open to creative ideas for when and where we gather and what we do---so feel free to join in and transform the group, whether in small ways or large!
